Engine 1611

This 2003 E-One fire engine is equipped with Cyclone cab which seats 5 fire fighters and a driver, a 2000 GPM Hale pump, 1000 gallons of water, and 1500 feet of 5" hose. A 420 HP Detroit Series 60 diesel with an Allison HP 4060 automatic transmission and 10 KW Amps hydraulic generator power the truck. This truck is equipped with some of the latest "cutting edge" fire fighting technology, including a Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS). CAFS allows for quicker fire knockdown times and uses less water, preventing excess fire and water damage. This truck is housed at our Leithsville Station. Original cost $425,000.00


Engine 1612

This 2016 Spartan Metro Star pumper is equipped with a fully-enclosed MFD cab which seats a driver and five fire fighters, a 1500 GPM Hale pump, 1000 gallons of water, 20 gallons of foam concentrate, 1700 feet of 5" hose, 600 feet of 3" hose, two 200-foot cross-lays of 1 3/4" hose and a 100-foot front pre-connect. A 450 HP Cummins ISL diesel engine with an Allison VS 3000 automatic transmission and 8 KW Amps hydraulic generator power the truck. This truck is equipped with some of the latest "cutting edge" firefighting technology, including a Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS). CAFS allows for quicker fire knockdown times and uses less water, preventing excess fire and water damage.  Because of its state-of-the-art compressed air foam system (CAFS) and other fire suppression equipment, Engine 1612 is the first truck out of the Southeastern station for fire calls within areas of the township with hydrant service, and also for car fires within the Lower Saucon coverage area of I-78 and Route 33.  Additionally, because of the rescue equipment that it also carries, 1612 is first engine out of Southeastern for rescue calls and motor vehicle accidents. Tower 1621

A 2020 Pierce Arrow XT 100 Foot Mid-Mount Ascendant Tower. The truck contains 173 feet of ground ladders in addition to the main. The crew is situated in a Arrow cab, which has seating for 5 and the driver. The truck has a 2000 GPM Waterous pump, 2 - 2000 GPM master stream nozzles on the front of the bucket, 800 feet of 5" hose, and 3 single stack crosslays. Power is provided by a Cummins X15, 565 hp engine with an Allison 4000EVS. The truck is 42.2 feet long and weighs 73,200 pounds. The tower is currently the second due apparatus for all structural fire calls and provides mutual aid for all structural fire calls in the borough of Hellertown. This truck is housed at our Se-Wy-Co Station. Cost $1,500,000.00


Tender 1631

Tender 1631 is a 2014 Mack Granite with a custom tank body. This unit was purchased from Allentown Mack and Pierce Manufacturing. The truck holds 3000 gallons of water and 110 gallons of Class A foam. It also features a 2000 GPM pump with CAFS, rear & side water dumps, preconnected crosslays, hydraulic ladder and fold-a-tank rack, and a five inch supply line hose bed. This unit replaces 1831 which was destroyed in the Leithsville station fire. This truck is housed at our Leithsville Station. Purchase price $ 504,000.00


Tender 1632

This 2003 Spartan Gladiator MS1250 tanker is equipped with a cab which seats a driver and four fire fighters, a 1250 GPM Waterous pump, 3000 gallons of water, 500 feet of 5" hose, two 200-foot cross-lays of 1 3/4" hose, one 200-foot cross-lay of 1 1/2" hose, and a 100-foot front pre-connect. A 450 HP Cummins diesel engine with an Allison MD4060P automatic transmission and 10 kW Amps hydraulic generator power the truck. This truck is equipped with a 3000-gallon portable pool and serves in the Northampton County Tanker Task Force.  Many parts of Lower Saucon Township do not have fire hydrants.  Because of its large water capacity, Tanker 1632 is the first truck out of the Southeastern station for any fire-related emergencies in areas of our township without hydrant service and for any large vehicle fires within the Lower Saucon coverage area of I-78 and Route 33. Original cost: $301,000 


RESCUE 1641

Rescue 1641 is a 2010 Pierce Velocity 6 Man Heavy Rescue with a Detroit 515hp motor. The unit is equipped with a 30KW AMPS generator, 9000lb portable winch with 7 available receivers around the truck, Light Tower with surveillance camera and weather monitoring package, and a command desk. It carries a full complement of Holmatro Rescue tools, Holmatro Low and High Pressure air bag sets, Paratech Interstate/Highway Rescue Struts, Large cribbing, High Pressure Cascade, High Angle Rope & Water Rescue equipment and  a Scott Air Cart. This truck is housed at our Se-Wy-Co Station. Purchase price $ 935,000.00


BRUSH 1642

This 1982 2 1/2 ton 6X6 Cargo M35A2 deuce and a half (Brush Truck 1642) is equipped with a cab which seats a driver and two fire fighters, a 300 GPM 23 HP pump, 600 gallons of water, and several hundred feet of forestry and non-forestry hose. This truck is equipped with a wide range of brush fire-fighting equipment and can carry up to six fire fighters off-road in its cargo area.  1642 is first truck out for brush fire calls because of its brush fire suppression equipment and off-road capabilities. The truck is leased from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation of Natural Resources (DCNR) Bureau of Forestry and was upgraded in-house by Southeastern volunteers. 1642 is stationed at Southeastern, serves Lower Saucon Township, and can be called into service to fight brush fires anywhere in the state of Pennsylvania. Original cost: Countless volunteer hours to upgrade this truck which is leased from the PA DCNR.


BRUSH 1643

This 1991 Chevrolet 1 ton all wheel drive 3500 chassis seats 2 firefighters and the driver. It has a 250 gallon water tank, 350 GPM Hale pump and is equipped with 600 feet of 1 inch forestry hose, nozzels, back pack tanks, brush rakes, chain saws and 150 feet of 1-3/4 inch hose. It is also equipped with a Meyers 8 foot snow plow which will be used around our fire station and to make way for emergency responses during snow emergencies. The primary use is brush and forest fires and the secondary use will be for medical assist responses if requested. This unit was purchased used from a neighboring fire department at a cost $7,200.00. This truck is housed at our Leithsville Station.


TRAFFIC 1644

Traffic 1644 is a 2017 Ford F-350.  It is equipped with traffic cones, barricades, warning signs, flares, road clean-up materials along with other miscellaneous traffic control devices. Operated by the Fire Police, its primary purpose is to respond with the fire department to all emergencies for traffic and crowd control as well as the protection of all first responders including fire, EMS and police personnel.


UTILITY 1646

A 2008 Ford F-250 4x4 is used by the members on a daily basis for response to fire department incidents; attend fire department meetings and activities. The truck is equipped with a custom console, UHF/VHF radios and repeaters, laptop computer, portable radios and chargers, fire extinguishers, gas monitor and a thermal imaging camera. This truck was purchased with grant money from Senator Lisa Boscola and State Representative Karen Beyer. Original Cost $30,000.00.
